Our Carers come from all walks of life! We have high school students (with parental supervision), families and retired carers. One thing is for sure all our carers will take superb care of your dog. All our carers are animal lovers; they all enjoy the short-term company of a dog for various reasons. Some love the companionship of a dog without the full time responsibility of ownership; others enjoy the company of a canine friend. Many of our carers may have their own dog and enjoy the company of a visiting friend. Others may have lost their dog and are not yet ready to replace them.

Our carers are all required to provide a safe, secure and caring environment. Our staff will complete an extensive onsite check of the carer's property. All carers require a fully fenced and secure yard in join Pet Paws Australia. We screen all our carers extensively to ensure we have the very best team available to take care of your pet.

We ask our carers all about themselves and what type/breed/size of dog/s they are interested in pet sitting. They complete a full questionnaire detailing their preferences to indoor/outdoor dogs, how often your dog will be walked and where your dog will sleep. Pet Paws Australia goes to great length to determine their suitability, once established they become a valued member of our team.

When an owner calls Pet Paws will ask all about your dog. We aim to find the best possible carer for your dog. When we have located a carer we will arrange for the owner and his or her dog to visit the carer prior to your booking date to ensure everyone is happy with the arrangement. If either party is not completely satisfied, Pet Paws will continue searching for a more suitable carer.

Often our dogs and owners are so happy with their carer that they will request the same carer when they next travel. We are pleased to offer this service, and request that you advise at time of booking your preferred carer. Please be aware that during busy times it is best to book ahead to ensure your carer is available.
