'Bonesicles' for large dogs:
- Ask your quality pet shop or butcher for a 'lamb neck'
- Freeze, then allow to partially defrost
- Serve to your dog - it's your dog's equivalent of a yummy ice-block!
Holiday Treats for Dogs:
- Ingredients: 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 2 tbsp. peanut butter 1 tbsp. water dash of salt 1 1/4 cup flour
- Cooking: Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Combine ingredients in bowl. Roll dough into balls and put on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Bake for 18-20 minutes and cool.
Sardine Surprise for Cats:
- Ingredients: 2 Flat cans of sardines in oil (do not drain), 2/3 cup cooked rice, 1 small tub of pureed liver (or canned liver cat food), 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Preparation: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into balls of desired size or simply spoon into cat's dish and serve. These treats may be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days, and may also be frozen.
DOG FOOD RECIPES
Ingredients:
250g-boiled rice/500g cooked pasta
350g raw lean meat minced
80g raw sheep or beef liver
20ml corn oil (or any polyunsaturated cooking oil, like canola, sunflower or olive oil)
20g bone meal (Also known as Hydroxyapatite, bone flour or bone powder)
5g-table salt

Ingredients
1 cup low fat milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon honey
1 tablespoon fresh ricotta
METHOD
In a mixing bowl combine milk, egg and honey. Whisk vigorously until mixture is frothy and slightly thickened.
Pour into your dog's bowl and place a dollop of ricotta in the centre.
