Terms and Conditions We will take every precaution to ensure your pet has a happy and safe stay, but Pet Paws Australia will not accept responsibility for Canine Influenza, loss/escapes, injuries, illness or any kind of death. In the event that it is necessary for the proprietors of Pet Paws Australia to seek veterinary assistance without the consent of the client who may be unavailable to provide such consent, then the client agrees that the cost of any procedure undertaken as a result will be their full and financial responsibility. In the event of damage, death or destruction of public and private property; grievous harm caused to animals and/or persons by your pet, Pet Paws shall reserve the right to hold you fully responsible and you shall bear all costs, expenses as a consequence of such damage, destruction or harm. Under part (5) of the Domestic (Feral and Nuisance) Animal Act any animals that are not collected within 7 days of the nominated date will be disposed of at Pet Paws Australia discretion. All monies owing, including fees and costs relating to the disposal, shall be payable by the owner forthwith after receipt of Pet Paws Australia advice as to the amount thereof. If the costs are not paid as provided above, legal proceedings will be instituted without further notice. Pet Paws Australia reserve the right to refuse any animal and no reason shall be given. All charges incurred by the client must be paid before the pet leaves the facility. All pets to be in good health and fully immunised The rate charged is a DAY rate regardless of drop off or pickup time. A minimum booking of 7 Days (i.e. 6 nights) applies for any booking that includes any part of the Christmas holiday period of 24th December to 11th January. We do accept shorter last minute bookings after 5th December when all Christmas bookings have been confirmed. It is the responsibility of all dog owners to visit our carers prior to payment of the deposit to ensure owners are completely happy with the minding environment. If monies are not received by the dates specified, then Pet Paws Australia reserves the right to reallocate the carer to other bookings. ALL PAYMENTS must be made direct to: “Pet Paws Australia”. We accept: Cash, Cheque and Bank Transfer We require a 50% deposit within 10 days of giving you the carer’s details or within 24hours of meeting the allocated carer (whichever is sooner). Your booking is only confirmed by Pet Paws Australia once we receive your full deposit. Full payment is then due two weeks prior to your booking start date. Bookings less than 2 weeks in advance require full payment within 24 hours of meeting the carer or prior to booking start date (whichever is sooner). In addition to the above payment conditions, for first time users of our service, we require prepayment of a $35 booking fee before any processing can occur. This fee will be deducted from the total cost if you proceed with your booking. In addition to the general booking requirements, Bookings that include any part of the December and January school holidays must be paid in full by December 1st. Due to heavy demand at these times we cannot hold bookings that do not abide by these terms. While we do not give refunds, once a booking has been confirmed, we are happy to supply a credit in the following situations: Cancellations more than 14 days of the booking start date: A credit of the full amount paid less an administration fee, equal to 50% of the deposit, is applied to your account. Cancellations within 14 days of the booking start date: A credit of the any amount paid in excess of the deposit. The deposit is forfeited. Cancellations less than 1 FULL Business Day before the start date are not credited. Cancellations once a booking has commenced (i.e. early pickups) are not credited. If you transfer a booking to a new date prior to 14 days of the booking start date: All monies paid are transferred to the new booking less a Rebooking Fee of $50. If less than 14 days notice is given, the changes are treated as a separate cancellation and new booking. All Christmas transfers are treated as a separate cancellation and new booking. All credits will be held for a maximum period of 12 months from the start date of the cancelled booking. Credits older than 12 months are forfeited.
