Dog, Cat and Other Pet Terms and Conditions

The following is a list of terms we supply to all our owners.  Please feel free to contact Pet Paws if you have any queries.

1. I shall ensure that any pet in my care wears an identification tag either bearing my carer’s phone number or a phone number supplied by Pet Paws Australia and is currently registered.
2. I shall ensure that my pet will be in good condition - clean, groomed and without fleas, ticks or any other contagious health issue when admitted to care.
3. I shall ensure that my pet/s is/are properly and currently vaccinated, when dropped at a carer’s home.  I agree to provide an adequate amount of food for my pet's stay and will be liable for any additional food that the carer deems necessary to purchase to ensure your pet is well cared for.   
4. I acknowledge that once I have made a booking with Pet Paws Australia and paid a deposit, I will do all possible to honour it.  If circumstances change and I am unable to meet my commitment I accept the deposit is non refundable.
5. I agree not to approach any Pet Paws carer directly about minding a pet without contacting Pet Paws with the details. This is to ensure you will be covered by Pet Paws Australia insurance.
6. I acknowledge that Pet Paws Australia or the carer is not responsible for any damage or injury caused to my pet, property or any third party.  And that I am liable to cover any damage caused.
7. I acknowledge that if my plans change and I am away longer than initially advised I will contact Pet Paws as soon as I am able and will agree to pay any additional pet minding charges incurred.
8. In the event of an emergency, I hereby permit Pet Paws Australia or any representative to authorise any veterinary care deemed necessary and I will be liable for any cost involved.
9. I acknowledge that should I not notify Pet Paws Australia to any changes in my return date, that after a period of fourteen (14) days Pet Paws has the right to remove the pet from care with the owner having no claim whatsoever.
10. Pet Paws Australia reserves the right to alter rates at any time.
11. I understand that the Pet Paws Carer will accommodate my pet to the best of their ability and is obliged to do so by a contract, which they have signed.
12. Pet Paws Australia reserves the right to refuse any pet.                                             

Carers Terms and Conditions

The following is a list of terms we supply to all our carers.  As a Pet Paws Carer I will perform pet care and related services directly for the client and/or clients, on behalf of Pet Paws Australia.

1. I agree that once I have accepted a booking from Pet Paws, I will do all possible to honour it.  If circumstances change and I am unable to honour the booking I will notify Pet Paws as soon as possible.  While acting o behalf of Pet Paws Australia, I agree to perform the entire task agreed to and be responsible for allocating sufficient time for completion.       
2. I shall ensure that any dog in my care wears an identification tag either bearing my phone number or a phone number supplied by Pet Paws.
3. I shall do all possible to ensure the dog does not become sick or injured, or cause damage to property or any individual.
4. I shall do all possible to ensure that any dog cared for by me will be returned to the owner in good condition - clean, groomed and without fleas, ticks or any other contagious health issue.
5. I shall ensure that any animal at my property is properly and currently vaccinated.  Pet Paws will ensure any visiting dog has all appropriate vaccinations.
6. Whilst in my care I shall ensure that the dog will be under control of a competent handler, and is on an adequate leash when outside the security of my property.
7. I shall do all reasonably possible to ensure that the dog does not escape, whilst in my care.
8. I acknowledge that Pet Paws or the dog owner is not responsible for any damage caused to my property.
9. I understand that I am not an employee of Pet Paws Australia, and I am responsible for equipment, transport, insurance, public liability, licences and tax obligations that may result from payment received from Pet Paws Australia.
10. I agree not to approach any Pet Paws client directly about minding a pet.  I also agree not to accept any booking direct from a Pet Paws client without contacting Pet Paws with the details.
